Inflammation toddy is a wonderful warming tonic that helps warm the body, boost the digestive fires, reduce inflammation, lower pain levels, boost energy levels, and increase the body's capacity to deal positively with stress. Our Inflammation Toddy PLUS formula, includes several addition herbs that are not contained in the Original formula. These added ingredients help reduce inflammation, reduce pain, and help calm the nervous system. The Inflammation Plus Toddy packs a bigger punch than the orginal formula, but should be avoided if you are pregnant, nursing, or taking certian medications. The orginal formula is safe during nursing and pregnancy and safe with most medications. As always, check with your health care provider before adding any herbal medicines into your daily routine if you are currently taking any medications, or are pregnant or nursing.

Fresh Ginger: is a powerful anti-inflammatory that also improves digestion, helps bring heat into the body, increases circulation, and helps reduce the effects of stress in the body.
Fresh Turmeric: is another powerful anti-inflammatory, and has a profound effect on certain types of pain and painful inflammatory conditions. It is extremely beneficial for joint pain and sluggish circulation, and also acts as both a powerful warming herb, and also a bitter. One of the compounds in turmeric, curcumin, is particularly beneficial to the body.
Burmannii Cinnamon: helps balance blood sugar, reduce inflammation, increase circulation and boost the immune system. It’s warming, soothing scent and flavor act both on the olfactory nerves, and the taste buds to help promote a calm and relaxed state of mind and body.
Black Pepper: aids digestion, is warming to the body and helps improve circulation, and helps the body in many other ways; but the primary reason it is used in this tonic is because of it’s amazing relationship with turmeric. Black pepper contains a compound called piperine, which enhances the absorption of curcumin, one of the most beneficial compounds found in turmeric by up to 2000%. Yep, you read that right, two thousand percent! In fact, the human digestive system struggles to absorb curcumin at all, or only in very small amounts without some help, and the compound piperine found in black pepper is one of the best catalysts for enhancing absorption, and thus giving you a lot more bang for your buck when it comes to turmeric.
White Willow: helps relieve pain, inflammation and improve digestion. This formula contains a small amount of white willow, as it is added more for it’s bitter digestion improving and energetic properties in this formula, and not used in a large amount. However, Consult a knowledgeable herbalist or Naturopathic doctor before taking white willow if you are pregnant, nursing, or if you are allergic to aspirin.
Cat’s Claw: is a powerful anti-viral, and helps improve painful conditions such as arthritis, diverticulitis, peptic ulcers, colitis, gastritis, hemorrhoids, parasites, and leaky bowel syndrome by helping to soothe and heal the digestive tract. Because of the effects cat’s claw has on the immune system, it can cause issues for those who have an overactive immune system. Consult your health care provider before use if you suffer from an auto-immune disease, or are pregnant or nursing.
Calamas Root: works to soothe the digestive tract, and heal gastrointestinal problems such as ulcers, inflammation of the stomach lining, and nausea, and also acts as a warming, stimulating spice. Calamas is also a powerful energetic healer. It brings a sense of grounding, and peace that is truly profound. In this herbal blend, calamas is used in low amounts as a warming herb, and for it’s energetic effects on the herbal blend as a whole. Much smaller amounts of this root are used in this formula, and because of this, none of the usual warnings that can accompany this root apply here.
Clove: helps support healthy liver function, helps improve digestion, stokes the “digestive fires” and improves the excretion of helpful digestive juices and enzymes, as well as helping to kill unwanted bacteria in the mouth and throat, and is extremely high in antioxidants.
Lemon Balm: helps reduce anxiety and stress levels in the body, helps promote a calm mind, improves cognitive abilities, can relieve nausea and heartburn, as well as helping to reduce insomnia and aid the body in entering deeper levels of sleep. It is also a powerful anti-viral.
Raw Infused Local Honey: is added both for flavor, and for it’s ability to help improve absorption in the digestive track of the medicinal constituents in the herbs. The raw honey used in this tonic was infused with ginger, cranberries, crab apples, and dandelion. Each of these fruits and herbs act to help absorption, or increase the effectiveness of the tonic overall.
