About Us

Hi, I’m Ashley Glassman, welcome to Above and Below Apothecary.

I am a longstanding herbalist and aromatherapist with decades of experience dating all the way back to my ancestors; a true alchemist at my core.

al•che•my: (noun) a seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination that brings together individual elements or ingredients to create something vastly different and greater than the sum of its original parts.

I live a very dynamic and deliberate relationship with mother earth and the Creator, and I am here to first and foremost assist in your utilizing nature’s powerful medicine safely and effectively. The gifts I share with you are a culmination of my personal experiences, traditional uses, and folklore of plants, as well as what scientific studies are telling us about herbs, essential oils, and natural healing modalities.  All I share is deeply entrenched in my knowledge and belief that we are intended to be intimately connected to nature, to mother earth, and to our Creator, and that this type of connection is extremely rare in our culture right now.
